Next week myself and my friend are having an interview for a job we both applied for.

I think my interview is before hers, and I'm a little worried she's going to ask me to tell her the interview questions. There's also an excercise to complete as part of the interview, and I'm worried she's going to want me to tell her about it.

Am I a bad friend for not wanting to tell her? It's just that the job means a lot to me as well, and by telling her the questions and excercise it would be putting her at such an advantage. Whilst I want her to do her best, I just think it would be a little unfair for her to go into the interview knowing exactly what's going to be asked, whilst I went in blind.

So I just want to know if A. Am I in the wrong for not wanting to tell her? And B. Any ideas for what I should say if she does ask?

Tell her some but not all the questions saying you "cant remember", that way she doesnt have much of an advantage and you are still a good friend

I suppose that's an idea, thanks.

It's just a little frustrating. I had an interview earlier this week and another friend of mine had the same interview a few days earlier. I didn't ask her for the questions and she didn't offer to tell me, I didn't want to ask what the questions were because I know it'd put her in an uncomfortable position.

I hate competing against friends for jobs, it's no fun and has potential for awkwardness!
