Advice for those of us in long distance relationships
This always seems to be a hot topic on H+R, and since i've just said goodbye to my bf for 9 months i am wallowing slightly more than usual!
In my self-pitying state i found a page on a bbc site which is really good and has a lot of common sense advice that i think we could all do with remembering when our near and dear are far away.

I know this isn't too long-distance, but having lived with my boyfriend (and a house full of others!) for the past year, he's living in Derby and me in Leeds. Am so nervous about it as my last long-distance relationship ended a few months after I went to uni even though it was brilliant before that.
