I know this may seem a silly issue but I need some advice with a family problem.

Me and my family (including extended) went to Australia recently and we all bought boomerangs. We all went to a park and had great fun but my uncle Nigel couldn't quite get the hang of it. His boomerang just didn't seem to come back, he kept calling it a "bung boomer" but he just had awful technique..

Anyway, I know this seems a minor thing but he has a mental illness that means he gets quite angry about such things and he has been refusing to speak to us since, does anyone have any ideas on how we can resolve it?

Would have been so much easier had the damn stick just come back.

Maybe try inviting him out again? Try to teach him a good technique and whatever you do, don't make it seem you're mocking him.

He'll probably get over it eventually, but it's worth a go trying the above.
