What are your Parents/Guardians professions?

This question always interests me. I like asking my friends what their parents do out of pure curiosity and sometimes the answers are very suprising!
So yeah, what jobs do your parents have? :smile:

My Dad is a telecommunications consultant and my mum is a heath care visitor to newly born babies & their mums.

My Dad's buisness card says he's a 'Principal Solutions Architect' but from what I can gather he's more like a professional whinger. And my mum's a primary school teacher.

I don't tend to ask what people's parents do. Some people find it embarrassing. My father's a professor by profession, but he mainly works in executive-type jobs now, so I'm not sure what to call him. My mother's a teacher and writer.

My mum works in a school as a kind of... not a teacher, a support assistant I suppose, except for people with bad behaviour. My Dad's on the dole.

), and my dad was a chartered surveyor and head of property for Scottish Enterprise before he died.

My mum is a prison officer and my dad after an accident is now disabled and unable to work- although at the time of his accident he opperated cranes and similar machinery.
