    i tried using the log formula but i have had no luck can someone help me please

    Just to add, a rather unfortunate typo there I think you mean  x = \frac{lny}{lna} .

    To be fair I think it's a 'hence find the integral of a^x wrt x' or something type question.

    Take the natural log of both sides
    lna^x = xlna = lny

    Know your rule of log_c(a^b)=blog_c(a). Take natural logs of both sides.
