Is classsical civilisation similar to literature? watch

    • Thread Starter

heyy.. So i chose history a-level but now i want to drop it and choose classical civilisation as i believe history is too hard.

However I'm afraid that classical civilisation is similar to lit. Do i need to learn quotes or texts by heart etc? Or do i need to talk about the techniques used by the author?

And I dislike Literature (as I cannot learn by heart any texts etc) should i choose classical civilisaton?

Finally is classical civilisation harder or more easy than history?
    Thankyou in advance!!

Look at the syllabus and talk to the teacher. Dont o an A level you dont know about.

Its a mix of history and literature. Depending on the syllabus it may have a language element to it.

yes you will need to learn texts, use quotes and talk about the author.

Easier or harder depends on you and what you prefer.
