Preface: I sat my AS' in Wales so my results from this year do count.
I received my AS History results this year and I was rather disappointed to discover that I received an A on one paper (85 UMS) and a D (50 UMS; almost an E) on the other leading to a C overall and so I am considering getting the D paper remarked due to the disparity in my grades as I was predicted an A.
I have a total of 135 UMS for history this year and 5 UMS is worth 3 raw marks, meaning I am 3 marks off achieving a B this year instead of a C.
Essentially I am wondering if anybody has any experience with getting a history paper re-marked (I sat WJEC) as to how subjective the marking actually is.
