Hi!

I'm going to study AQA A Level Chemistry (new spec) as a private candidate. How many exams would I have to take? Should I bother with taking the AS exams?

Exams plus 12 practicals for the A level. 2 exams for the AS. It's your choice whether to take the AS - it will cost a fair bit but will at least give you a definite idea whether you're doing OK.
