I'm wondering what we do in year 11. We have our mocks in December, so do we learn up to then, and then after Christmas go on study leave? How does it work?

Different schools have different policies i.e. study leave. When you go back you should ask them for the date it begins, if your school does study leave at all (some schools don't).

You'll still learn after the mocks- you're tested on what you've learnt to that point. Then once you've finished everything by Easter, you revise in lessons and in some cases once exams start go on study leave and attend some revision sessions at school

You keep learning up until Easter Holidays (April time) and then after that you focus on revision and then usually after May half-term study period begins. Remember study leave isn't free time, if you treat it like free time you will fail your GCSEs like quite a few people this year.

study for the mocks, then use the mocks to improve on top of that, do past papers. basically in year 11, just go over the syllabus of every subject
