Medicine Help

Hi I just got my a level results a few weeks back and I had applied to do medicine down in Ireland (I live in Northern Ireland), however I didn't get the grades so it effectively rules me out of going down south as I would have to retake my GCSEs again (their policy). I was wondering should I either do a graduate entry, go abroad (most likely Italy so if anyone could give details) or to apply through ucas however I'd have to repeat some of my alevels to get the grades from uk universities but it would be my first time applying to medicine in the uk
