UEL Free £500.00 Bursary - Help needed

Hey,

Anyone else go to UEL and have used the £500.00 bursary? I applied for a progress card back in feb and I haven't gone to collect it but I know I have that 500 still there. I have some questions for UEL students who used it.

1) When does it have to be used by? It says "standard bursary" has to be used by 31st july but standard is £300.00 and not 500, 500 is the progress bursary, so anyone know?

2) I know you collect your progress card from john smiths in docklands and you gotta show your ID card, I log into webCT today and see someone spent £20.00 and now I only have £480.00 left, wtf is up with that?

3) Does this money have to be paid back (silly question yes) and what is this anyway? Can I go to john smiths with the card and take as many things as I need worth £500.00 without spending any money myself?

Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry this doesn't answer your question but how did you go about getting the bursary?? I may be starting at UEL this September (results permitting) and could do with a bursary such as this lol. Sorry to ask.

If you go successfully into your 2nd semester in your first year you will get it. You will get 300 quid in year 2/3 aswell if you get into 2nd semester.
