So after making the decision to take a Gap Year I realised I should probably try and sort my life out. I'm assuming I'll no longer be registered as a Student so do I need to register as unemployed whilst I'm looking for work and/or travelling or is there a specific course for action for Gap Year students? Any advice or info is welcome, Thanks!

There isn't anywhere to register specificially as a gap year student, once you are 18 its up to you to decide what to do. However as you won't be a student this year you can claim benefits such as JSA should you wish too.
