I'm an English speaker with a rudimentary understanding of German, specifically looking for the politics masters in LMU Munich. From what I gather, if you cannot speak German you can get German lessons for a semester to bring you up to a basic understanding?

Has anyone here done this at LMU, or something similar at another German University?

What are employment prospects like in Politics after doing a masters?

Would you recommend someone to do this?

In terms of your level of German, the uni will be best placed to advise about how you should proceed. In terms of employability I think you're going about this the wrong way around. Only do a masters if it's needed for the jobs you're interested in or if you're just interested in the subject. Don't do a masters for the sake of it or in the hope that it'll make you more employable because it may not.
