    Hello

According to my schedule from SFE, I should receive my first maintenance grant on 5th September. ( I haven't enrolled in person yet, only online). When I called SFE they seemed to indicate I would still receive payment on 5th as per my schedule. However, from what I've read it appears I won't receive it until a few days after I enrol in person, is this correct?

I am doing a top-up (going into third year) and this is my first time claiming SF if that makes any difference.

    Thanks for the advice!

I don't believe SF will release any payments until your attendance is confirmed by the university to SF. And this isn't usually done until after you actually attend and enroll in person.

Yes. Your attendance has to be confirmed by the uni. On your letter which has the payment schedule, there's a barcode which is scanned by the uni.

ok that's slightly worrying. I have received a letter confirming payment but no schedule. I also can't login to my account. When I ring them up, they don't seem concerned that I cannot login , and they told me my schedule over the phone, but haven't sent out anything by post.
