Britain is now the second biggest arms dealer in the world, official government figures show – with most of the weapons fuelling deadly conflicts in the Middle East.
Since 2010 Britain has also sold arms to 39 of the 51 countries ranked “not free” on the Freedom House "Freedom in the world" report, and 22 of the 30 countries on the UK Government’s own human rights watch list.
A full two-thirds of UK weapons over this period were sold to Middle Eastern countries, where instability has fed into increased risk of terror threats to Britain and across the West.

It's worth noting that actually Britain is the second biggest arms dealer in the world and clearly it's debatable to include Scotland and Ireland in the equation.
The US is actually the first which obviously goes without saying.

As Goose said, we are actually the secondbiggest arms dealer in the world. This also means a boosted prosperity for Britain. You need to consider these people will get their hands on weapons regardless of the supplier. We might as well line our pockets and make a pretty penny.

If they don't buy them off us then they will buy them off the Americans or the Russians or the Chinese etc.
War is a business, might as well make a profit from it if you can...
Also in the case of Saudi Arabia, we're basically forcing them to buy our expensive weapons in exchange for the UK buying their oil at a good price.
