She's confusing me. Again.

I was texting my ex a few days back, and she mentioned she couldnt sleep. When I asked why, she said she didnt know, so i suggested maybe she was hot...her reply was "of course im hot lol but thats not why i cant sleep"...now I'm having trouble deciding whether she's trying to flirt here or not? is she?

Try asking why.

It sounds like joking between friends to me. We say stuff like that all the time and it doesn't really mean anything.

I guess it depends on what kind of person she is: is it normal for her to say stuff like that, OP?

She sounds like she's being playfully flirtatious, but that doesn't have to mean she fancies you again. She could be a naturally flirty person and was just being playful/friendly.

I am still interested in her, very much so, and i was flirting, albeit in a fairly subtle way. Since then I've been texting her all evening, and still texting now...though we're still friends, could there not possibly be something still there? :rolleyes:

Possible, never say never an all that, but i wudnt get ur hopes up mate. Sounds to me like shes just bein friendly, an since u want her to be interested in you again your just seeing what you wanna see. No shame in it, we've all been there... but yeah, take it easy an dont get your hopes up wud be my advice. Good luck tho
