I know a girl (online) who is dating her former teacher. They started dating (secretly) when she was 18 and he was 25 and she was in her last term of school. That was two and a half years ago, and they live together now. It has worked very well for them.

she could have learning difficulties, he may have done this before, is it a he, how old is the person really, who knows ?, if people can lie about there age to get inthe army then cud'nt you do the same to go to college?

I'm engaged to my university lecturer, but perhaps that's a slightly different matter.
At Uni it's totally different though - level playing field really. I've heard of lecturers who pick up a different fresher every year. (Not to suggest that yours is one of those ofc lol :P)
