Wahay! Another mary's girl
I wouldn't worry about Mary's, if I were you. There'll be guys in lectures and stuff, and we'll just have to join lots of DSU societies and make an extra effort to meet people - which is a good thing if you think about it. We'll just have a bit more of an incentive to socialise outside our own college.

I'm Sarah by the way (aka "shilling"...not "schilling" as Valen seems to think)

You don't get hangovers? That is evil. A friend of mine always used to say that until after my New Year's Eve party last year. I made my own very special "Five Alive" (made with five fruit 'n veg): Cava (grape), orange juice, apple juice, lemon slices and vodka (potato). Hehe. Now that had a kick to it. My friend was fine until 4pm on New Year's Day when we all met up again to go bowling (oh so sensible). Suddenly she staggers back holding her head, her very first hangover had kicked in. Awwwhhh, I was so proud.

1 - Do you like ducks?
Yes. but I hate swans. One bit me on the thumb when I was five. It hurt. i cried. The swan was chased.

2 - What animal, fruit/plant or household object are you most like, and why?
A bear with a sore head, particularly when hungover.

3 - What’s your earliest memory?
Running towards a tiger enclosure at Edinburgh Zoo (we don't have Zoos in Newcastle!!) and my dad running behind me.

4 - Which superpower would you most like to have?
Telekinetic ability would be cool, but more useful would be the ability to be immune to this bloody cough I've got currently.

5 - Why did you choose Durham and/or your college?
I've visited Durham regularly since I was about 5. So when it came to choosing a Uni, there was only one choice for me. Plus I got a reduced offer since I'm a local.

I chose the Wood caus it's clearly the coolest. Plus its the biggest, and I need lots of interaction, just not after a night out!

6 - What’ll you miss most, when you leave home?

7 - Who’re you most upset about leaving behind?
Don't really know.

8 - Do you have a gf/bf?
Neither

9 - Career aspirations?
Something law related. Possibly abroad - Germany perhaps, in the offices of some major firm.

Book: Lord of the Flies
Film: Green Mile
Food: Pasta carbonara
Drink: Rusty Nail (Drambuie and Scotch on the rocks)
Colour: Purple
Sport: Football. Support the Toon obv.
Ice-Cream Flavour: Mint Choc Chip!
Crisp Flavour: Salt and Vinegar
TV Show: Hustle
School Subject: German
Quote: "Money can't buy you friends, but you can get a better class of enemy" Cant remember who said that.

11 - Reasons why you chose your course?
Was something I'd never thought about, but once i looked into it, i realised that the issues in it both interested and affected me. So I chose to read it. At the end of 1st year though, I want to transfer to the ELS course, which means keeping my german sharp.

12 - Anything you’re scared of? (Both in relation to uni, or just fears in general)
Nothing I can think of 'in general'. But I'm sure there's something. In relation to Uni, not having enough money to stay the course.
