So I don't know if I'm posting in the right place or if anyone has experienced this kind of thing before but I thought it'd be worth asking.

I'm just going to dive right in as you all seem like intelligent people who'll quickly see through any story I fabricate so what's the point. I, just like the next man, enjoy a little self stimulation from time to time however it seems as though the ********s at the agency that I used to find the place I'm renting have decided to switch on the childsafe feature on the router which completely restricts what can be accessed. My question is as I am one of the five people that contribute towards the cost of the Internet should I be able to request that they turn off this feature?

I think this depends really.. Firstly, are there any children in the property, if so, then I doubt anyone would want you turning it off... Also, who put the router in... If the agency did it, then it may be worth checking with them, however, if you and your flatmates installed it, then yeh, you should have a say definitely... Do you have the admin password on the router accessible, because if so, then you could just do it yourself if no one's changed the password.
