Is UCAS a fraud? (important topic)

Hi,
Does anybody know, what is the fee rate when you apply after the deadline. I mean that applying when the clearing has started?

I applied on first day of the clearing, unfortunately i was delayed coz my credit card experied at the moment. I applied to 6 universities and ucas has chrged me the amount which they charge normally for per university:s-smilie: .
And didnt send my application to univerties and enterred me into clearing inspite of charging me full fee.

Can anybody help me?

And if i am correct, what should i do?

Thanx

Ok i make the topic. I guess people have problem understanding what i mean to say.
Ucas have charged me kwd 45 instead of 15 pounds, which when we convert into pounds become 90 pounds.
Thanx

This sounds like a mistake which should be easy to put right if you contact them and discuss it. Bear in mind that UCAS has been working under difficulty recently because of the floods. Fraud is a strong word to use when there is no evidence that this mistake was deliberate.

I always thought that you had to pay for each application in clearing. So you pay once for up to 6 applications for your first attempt, then if you go to clearing and apply for, say 3 more, you will pay another fee for each of those three.
Might have got it completely wrong, so don't rely on me! Someone who has been through clearing would have a better idea.
Try and found out whether the problem lies with UCAS, your credit card company or your bank, then if it's UCAS, phone them. You only have to pay £15.
I didn't even pay for UCAS! ha - i think the school may have paid for it. But they haven't chased me up for it. And my application all went through smoothly. Hmmm

My school paid the UCAS application fee for everyone who applied, and the extra Cambridge application fee for the two of us who applied there

I hear a bank overdraft is about £30...
