Tomorrow i'll be having my induction day for college and i'm really nervous. I have social anxiety and there for i find it hard talking to people, especially people i don't know at all. I've been told that i look depressed or sad whenever i'm anxious, which i think will probably put people off from wanting to talk to me. I've been to an induction before with a friend i knew since i was in pre-school, so i hung out with her for most of the day, but this time, i'm going alone. So i just want to know your experiences on how your induction day was like. Were you alone most of the day, or did you have someone to talk to?
I tend to always sit at the back of the class and not make eye-contact to anyone and i always feel like people always look at me and laugh. For once i want to be confident and be more open to people but i don't know how. i'm just really scared.
Any tips on how to introduce myself and what to talk about would be helpful too!

I had my first day yesterday, I knew one person out of 150, but we just found other people who looked lonely and spoke to them, you'll feel better for it and they will probably really glad you spoke to them.
Honestly: fake it til you make it. But be honest with your tutors.
