Do I stand a chance for UKCAT heavy universities? watch

    • Thread Starter

    Hi everyone,

I have recently taken UKCAT and got 673 average. Do I stand a chance for UKCAT heavy schools like Glasgow and King's? I also have a first class honour degree for Biomedical sciences with lots of work experience.

I am a bit confused about my application as there seems to be a significant drop in UKCAT score last year. Without knowing how the trend will continue, I can't help but feel unsecured in making the correct choices.

    Thanks a lot in advance!

From what I've gather that's a bit borderline for places like King's - very risky, but worth a shot if you have your heart set on that uni. Since the rest of your application sounds strong, you might want to apply to max 2 UKCAT heavy unis if those are unis that you really really love, and use the rest of your choices for unis that focus more on other things. Good luck!
Have you ever experienced racism/sexism at uni?
