I have some problems that are really stressing me out. I have just started Year 13 and I am so scared about doing my A Levels, even though I did well at AS Level - I worry that I will do worse this year, and feel really pressured to keep up the standard.
I want to apply to university, and I was thinking of Oxford but it doesn't offer the exact course that I want to do. I have told my college that I am going to apply to Leeds instead, but they have warned me that I am closing off many opportunities by not applying to Oxford, as I apparently have a chance of getting in. I am so conflicted, because I would kind of rather go to Leeds but I feel like I have to apply to Oxford - and if I got in, I couldn't exactly refuse an offer!!! Please help -what should I do?

please go to a uni you like! i'm in the same year as you so i have no further experience but i'm going to a uni i really want to go to, even if i could get better grades than the requirements.

while unis have different reputations it's better to go somewhere you actually like if you're going to live there for 3 years (or however long). good luck
