A-level English Lit

I have chosen English Lit for A-level and I am worried that I may struggle with this subject as the course is 100% exam based and there is a LOT of work. I achieved an A at GCSE, and I do really love this subject but I am a real panicky person. Is this subject right for me? I am unsure if I should take Politics as an A-level instead of English Lit. Any advice?
Definitely do English lit. rather than Politics, quite apart form anything else, universities respect Eng lit more. Don't worry - if you got an A at GCSE, you'll be fine. All you need to do is get plenty of exam practice, know your texts well, and memorise your quotes - I found flash cars really helped with that.

If you feel like you can do well with English lit at the end of a levels then do it because universities will prefer it much more than politics as its a rigorous subject, but remember that it is a lot of work outside of lessons and much more challenging
