    Hello everyone,
I am writing my personal statement, hoping to apply for the History and Politics course, and I wanted to ask if talking about Historical Fiction books is acceptable? I have a couple of non-fiction books for history and politics, but I think that some of the Historical Fiction books I have read would be relevant to explaining why I believe I am right for the course.
So, is it alright to mention it, or not? Please help!
    Thanks!

Surely all history is a form of fiction :flute:

You should focus on academic history/politics, rather than fiction

If you have something intelligent and original to say about it, then go ahead.
