My loan has been approved and I've been given a payment date. I plan to enroll on my course next week. But thing is, first day of welcome week is ny driving test. So i wont attend first day. I will for the rest of the week of course. I'm just worried this will delay payment?

Talk to your university and ask whether missing the first day will cause problems and whether you can do the activities from that day later in the week.

SLC wont pay until your university confirms your attendance - your university can't confirm your attendance until you attend and they run through some paperwork...when and how that will be done will depend on your university schedule.

A driving test only takes an hour or so though - you should still be able to attend on the day

Looking at induction timetable, it is simply a morning lecture for two hours to introduce the course. So I wont make it. But I will call uni now to discuss it and see if I can go in straight after for the register or something. Thanks for your help
