Hi I just finished my two induction days at sixth form and will start proper lessons tomorrow.
Induction day varies between schools so perhaps you might know what you are doing?
For me on my very first day, I gathered at school with the rest of the new sixth formers for a bit whilst we were waiting for everyone to come. I didn't know many people, but all you really have to do is introduce yourself to someone and start a conversation. Maybe prepare a few questions you can ask the people you meet e.g. what GCSEs did you do, which A levels are you taking, which school did you previously go to, what did you do in the summer etc. Then it sort of goes on from there.
On my induction day we signed up for the school login, had lunch and all did an activity together. It was very relaxed and there was lots of opportunity to talk to people. It might take you a while to find out who your friends are but as long as you meet some nice people on your first day, you will be absolutely fine for college! Good luck
