I only did 8 GCSEs and got 6 A* and 2A (CIE iGCSE for every subject). I have been predicted A*A*AA at A2. Is it worth applying to Warwick for economics?

I'm pretty sure you already knew that those grades were more than good enough to apply?

Entry requirements aren't always true. Some unis say that they need 4A*s at GCSE but their lowest students had 7 or 8. I just wasn't sure if the number of subjects I did was enough

youre talking about oxford and the quote was the people who got in averaged between 6-7, but its not a surprise that people with 10a*'s got denied.

The Warwick economics webpage is unambiguously clear. If you'd read it you could answer your own question.

You should definitely apply... You grades are beyond their requirement as they only ask for A*AA. But A-Level maths might be compulsory. Good luck
