Hello, I'm a Scottish student who's currently on a gap year and hoping to apply to medicine this year. I want to do self-taught advanced higher biology and possibly maths too. Do you think that would be too hard or is it doable. . And if I could do it, how would I go about it. Thank you.

Doable in terms of knowledge. Hardest part would be investigation, but I'm sure you'd be able to manage to get something done.

You'd need to approach an FE college and register for the course there, where'd you would sit NABs and the final exam.
