Hi there! I'm looking at different university courses and the BSc in Virology and Immunology seems really unique and interesting. However, it is asking for grades AAB which I know I cannot achieve. It seems like all of Bristol's undergraduate science courses need AAB, while other Russell Group universities ask for ABB.

Did any of you get accepted with lower grades? Since I got CCC in Maths, Chemistry and Biology I'm hoping to get an A in Welsh Baccalaureate, BB in Chemistry and Biology and a C in Maths.

Is there any chance I would be able to go onto the course with those grades?

If you know there is no chance of you achieving the grades the uni probably knows as well. Apply for a uni that you will have to work hard for to get the grades they want.
If you miss it by a bit you might still get it.
If you miss it by a lot you can still do clearing.
If you overachieve you can do adjustment.
