So I got an E in Chemistry and a D in Biology but I had medical issues at around the exam time so those AS grades weren't good. My school wont let me carry on with chem so I want to do it in private. I'll have a normal week at school with eng, sociology and biology but then id do chem on Saturday. I'll just be doing 4 alevels. I'm scared 4 alevels will be a lot of work but I really want to do medicine. Does this sound like a good idea??

You don't need to do 4 A levels all you need is AAA...

They do need chemistry though, for the majority of unis.

3 A levels including chemistry and another science usually OP.

Make sure you can ace the chemistry and biology to make the typical AAA offers. Discuss with your school, explaining that you are doing chemistry on saturday, and request to drop either english or sociology. If that is not possible, then you'll have to cope with 4 A-levels, but prioritise chemistry, biology, and either english or sociology.

You're missing the point. Their school will not allow them to do chemistry anymore.

It'll be a lot of work for you OP but if you're willing it could work.

Thanks for all your help. I will be doing chem on Saturday but just focus on the the three I need as my school refuses to let me.
