    I got
    A Sociology
    B Politics
    E Economics

My teachers were shocked at my Economics grade as I was getting A's and B's during the mocks. However, I panicked during the exam and got an E. My teachers have my papers and they said I was 2 marks of a D and they said there is a good chance I could get a D. They have decided to predict me a C.

So my predicted grades are ABC for a ABB @ university of Birmingham for politics and international relations..... What do you think my chances are??????

Beg your teacher to up your target from a C to a B, and then resit modules in Economics (unless its reformed, you won't need to resit)

I got ABB at AS, but predicted A*AA because I was doing resists in the BB subjects so my teachers could justify it. They said I could just drop out of the resits if I wanted after they had predicted me the grades. I did them though to get better grades.

They'll be fine with the slightly lower predicted grade so long as you have a good personal statement - plenty of offers are given to people with predicted grades 1 off entry requirements.
