Well, if I see a man in the street, I'm generally not thinking about their intelligence, level of confidence, or their money. Of course, it's about their looks. They don't need the smoothest hair, or the suavest clothes. As long as they take some sort of pride in their appearance, which generally comes across as caring for your body, which generally comes across as, well, not lazy, then they're likely to make some sort of impression.
Of course, if they're not my type then that's the extent to which they make an impression. But in case you're wondering, women generally don't go for Van Damme lookalikes.
