I will be going into my final year at Warwick and already worried about struggling to find a job when I graduate. I have no work experience whatsoever, how screwed am I?

Are there any graduates with a Maths degree still looking for jobs?If you're currently working, what do you do? Is it what you want?

I don't have a Maths degree but any experience is still experience. Try working as a part time Maths tutor? Perhaps go to primary or secondary school to help them with maths as this will be relevant to your degree. Even, if you don't want to go into teaching but it's better than nothing surely?

You're not in a great position to be honest. Warwick maths is impressive on paper but that can only get you so far.

Why on Earth didn't you try and do an internship over the summer - that was pretty much your final opportunity to get any relevant work experience before graduation. Your best way to attempt to salvage the situation would be to look for a part-time or weekend job. Doesn't matter where - retail or fast food will do. If that fails then you'll have to resort to a charity shop.

It is vital that you have some kind of work experience to put on your CV when you go out applying for graduate jobs, or you stand very little chance.
