Could you list some of the course modules?

I've also never heard of the University of Greenwich, and I know nothing about this course at that university, so I can't answer your question. I can assume things about the course, though, but only because it's at a university that ranked second-to-last in the country in the new league tables.

Greenwich doesnt have the level of prestige to grant you bragging rights in this forum i advise doing a law degree or medicine at a university the newspapers rank in the top 10.

I don't think he's looking for bragging rights; I think he's looking for helpful information about the course.

By the sound of it - I guess you work with Mathematical-Based Computer Programs - and perhaps learn to program such.

These are everywhere - In healthcare, medicine, research(especially), operative systems etc.

This is from Oxford's Site:

Oxford's MSc in Mathematical Modelling and Scientific Computing aims to train graduates with a strong mathematical background to develop and apply their skills to the solution of real problems. By the end of the course students should be able to formulate a well posed problem in mathematical terms from a possibly sketchy description in engineering, physical, chemical, financial or biological language, carry out any mathematical analysis that is helpful, select or develop an appropriate numerical method, write a computer program which gives sensible answers to the problem, and present and interpret these results for a possible client. Particular emphasis is placed on the need for all these parts in the problem solving process, and on the fact that they frequently interact and cannot be carried out sequentially.

I guess if this is post-graduate it seems like a good thing if you've studied earlier..

Thank you for all your inputs.

Course includes modules such as core CS technologies, computational fluid dynamics, finite element analysis, Computational Magneto-hydrodynamics, Multiphysics Modelling for the Processing Industry.

The univ is ranked low but the specific dept is ranked good as per some websites. It may promote a research based career but it would be helpful if someone would let me know if there are firms that may provide jobs such as developers/designers/researchers/programmers?

Bio-tech companies. Atomic Weapons Establishment. Economic and financial modelling. There are jobs out there, you will just have to engage in a fair bit of searching and use your own initiative. Bear in mind the pay for sciences isn't spectacular.

You seem to know about what you want to do, and spend your time with. Are you sure this exact education is the one you want to attend to?

It's always good to pay a visit to a site which shows different professions and their studies etc.

On the other hand, if this course really is what you want; You won't be standing without employment. Just go for it.

Take Care,
