I really want to do a Mental Health Nursing degree, however many Uni's ask for a GCSE in Maths, English and Science. I got a C in both English and Maths, however only a D in science. I have been looking into re doing my science GCSE online as re sitting it isnt an option at my school. The only problem is, it is an IGCSE. Would I get turned down by Uni for this? If so what could I do?

    Thankyou!

When you have spare time email or call up (faster option) the unis and simply ask them your question. From what I've seen every sixth form or college accepted IGCSEs. They overlooked a regular GCSE at below grade C if the IGCSE met requirements (even in english/maths!). I can't answer your question specifically because the requirements vary and I'm not at the uni stage yet.
