Hi to anyone!
Just got my sources for Controlled Assessment today, and I am really stuck finding analysis and evaluation points for this source, as there is no text or anything visually striking from what I see. I dont know if anyone can help if they have any interpretations?
This is the source: It has the caption: "It shows the beginnings of the Battle of Jutland as the British Grand Fleet sights the German High Seas Fleet"
These are the points we have been given when analysing and evaluating
Use or meaning/context of the source to analyse its use. Language/key phrases which the source uses and why you think this is, linked to how this makes the source more or less useful.
Focus on identifying evidence of these 5 points:
- Intended Audience
Clearly link evaluation to how each makes the source more or less useful to my enquiry, and who the source might be more/less useful for and why
Question 1 (16 Marks) CA:
Study sources A to D (This one above is source A). Explain how useful these sources have been in informing you in your enquiry into the roles played by the Royal Navy in the War at sea in the 2 world wards. Explain your answer using the sources and your own knowledge.
Thanks to anyone that can help me - I super appreciate it (because i am really, really stuck!)
