hey, i was looking for someone from o2 that can guide me. I'm in my probation period, but i would like to leave. Can I leave or do i need to stay for the full probation period...i've read that you can be prevented from leaving in some jobs (i havent got a copy of my contract)

Whilst you can be prevented from leaving in some jobs, I don't think that Next is one of them.

What you should do is read this.
However, there are a few things you need to do as well. First off, get a copy of your contract. Your line manager should be able to get you one, or contact your HR department directly and see what it says. At my workplace, if you're in probation you have to give two weeks notice in writing. After that, we need four weeks notice in writing.
Then, give in your notice to your line/manager. Essentially, the sooner, the better if you want to leave, as then the 'ball can be set in motion', so to speak.
Have you ever experienced racism/sexism at uni?
