I am in my final year of uni and at school I played the flute to grade 6... this was 5 years ago the last time i touched that thing... i quite fancy the idea of when i'm a bit older picking it back up and joining an orchestra for fun. has anyone else done this?

The older you get, the harder it becomes to learn to play a musical instrument. That said, the flute isn't a very hard instrument to play, so you probably won't have much difficulty in starting up again!
