I attended university last year and long story short, I will have to take my exams again next year. So I will be course suspended during the next year but will be coming in to retake my exams- as first attempts due to extenuating circumstances. This is for health reasons. Am I eligible for any funding at all? Ive heard about a 60 day funding period if it is because of a health reason but the last semester ended at the end of June so Im not sure that that would apply to me. I cant really find any information about this online so please let me know.

    Hi there.

If for this year you're not going to be dealt with as an attending student by the university, you will not be eligible for any funding.

If you are attending you should apply as normal and they will send over details of the time you'll actually study and can receive pro-rata funding based on the time you're actually attending.

Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
