What do second years do in terms of accommodation?

So, a bit of a strange question because I haven't even started my first year yet but I was wondering, am I correct in assuming everybody in second year goes into private housing? And that Uni housing is only available for first years right?

Most people I knew went into private housing for second year, myself included, but uni housing is still available for every student regardless of what year you're in. However, they do take more first years in halls as it's their first time in the city, hope this helps. :smile:
