Guys dating underage girls

...What is ur opinion?
I reckon its VERY WRONG if the girl is 2 years younger than the guy and is under 16.
My ex boyfriend slept wid sum1 who was 13 and he was 18 thats just sick!
(id like to point out that i didnt know this until i finnished wid him)
Around my friendship group im always hearing of someone my age (18) goin out wid sum1 whos underage its just wrong!
People should some1 their ownage.

You believe you can define how mature and ready a person is for a relationship depending on someones arbitrary age? I wouldn't go out with anyone more than a year younger than myself I don't think, but to say that girls and guys all mature at the same age, and as such it determines how morally culpable for doing "bad things" people are, is a bit silly.

I totally agree! After i finnished wid him he went out wid one of her friends who was 14 and he is now 19 (what a **** lol). All i heard from him was "its not a sex thing" *rolls eyes* i hardly think so he was such a horny bugger
ps. to make the situation worse they did it at a party whilst she was drunk

im not sure. going out with someone does not mean you have to have sex with them so im not sure how the word under age here would even be relevant. however, if you end up having sex, i think having sex with someone under 16 is quite wrong, but I really do not think age is a good measure of maturity. i'm 17, I think i would fit in quite well with people let say over 20. This is general, not just about dating. It is like having the debate about giving vote to 16 years old because a lot of them are mature, which i think bs. If you should be allowed to vote based on your maturity, there should be 30 years old people out there being banned from voting

I've heard of a lot worse. Early twenties sleeping with 14 year olds. It really shows the guy is either extremely desperate or unable to pull someone with a little more common sense and maturity.

(Just like to point out that it's classed as rape if the girl is under 16, even if the girl gives consent to the guy who's 16+)

haha yeah.

I know there are a lot of pervs out there etc but girls can be to blame too.

I mean a lot of girls do deliberately seek older guys (due to a whole number of factors, maturity etc) and dress up older.

I'm not condoning sex with a minor, but sometimes it isn't the guy who is to blame!

Theres NO excuse whatsoever if there is sex involved... I think both parties would know they are in the wrong.. its acceptable if its a year/less age gap but even then no need to sleep together at such a young age..

Theres no need for it.. In know at that age I was barely mature enough for a relationship with someone my own age, let alone older..

That being said, when I was only 11 a girl in my primary school was going out with a 17 year olf lad.. we were all so jelous at the time, looking back I think 1, Why the hell did he feel he needed to date a child and 2, thank god we didn't all rush out and try get an older guy like her..

Whats wrong with an 18/19 year old girl and a guy in their early 20s? Dont see the problem there myself. They're both adults.

I know someone who is 15 and going out with an 18 year old. It's only three years. A relationship among both is perfectly okay unless the relationship becomes sexual.
