Hi, I'm trying to find out if I can progress to stage 3. I missed 3 exams the first time round with extenuating circumstances so when I sat them in August they were classed as first attempts. I failed 2 of those which meant I failed a module, but I have at least 40% in every other module, I have 100 credits, so will I be able to progress to stage 3?

I went through this 2 years ago at solent, it turned out with the credits I had I could only attain an ordinary degree (without honors), I didnt find this out until September last year so had to transfer to Plymouth to do the final year. (Then sfe ****ed up my loan so i've had to work as a carer for a year and start again this year).

So the moral of the story is check carfully then check again or youll be studying for 5 years to get a three year degree, Im 49000 in debt and stil got a year to go, YAY!

    Good luck friend

Look the rules up online or ask your department or go and see an adviser in the SU.

    Hi Dani1982,

It's definitely worth a chat with your programme lead or your school office to get clarification (and some peace of mind!), they'll be able to advise you the best course of action. My experience with talking to the staff about difficulties is that they want you to do well and get your degree and so they're usually super helpful.

    Good luck
