maths ps

im in the process of writing my personal statement for maths and just had a querey.
my a level options are maths, further maths, german and art which are possibly not what the normal maths applicant does.
should i try to justify my choice of subjects in my personal statement or just leave it?

leave it, except when you get to saying what a well rounded individual you are :biggrin: . You can use it to suggest that you aint dull as hell or have a number fettish.
I've been thinking about exactly the same thing..

My A Level options are exactly like yours apart from Biology instead of Art. But I don't know how to "justify" them or whatever, plus I don't have any space left in my personal statement. So I think I'll just leave it, there's more important things to write about. After all, I'm not applying for Biology and I'm not going to pretend that German has anything remotely to do with mathematics..

If anything my tutor said that my choice of A Levels (and yours included then) shows that I have a broad range of interests and my knowledge isn't limited to one field. :rolleyes: Lol.
