dont want confidence issues to hold me back in new job

ive always not been that confident when it comes to approaching people etc & i just got a job promoting a company which involves conversing with strangers all day-im soo scared! any tips on how to be more confident or at least appear that way. I hate myself sometimes for being this way & if my confidence hold me back i'll get sacked because the job is heavily based on comission

By taking this job you are working outside your comfort zone which if anything is a good thing. You have out yourself into a postition whereby you have to get out there and meet new people which requires a certain degree of confidence! Well done

The key to comign across as confident is to act confident even when you dont feel it, you must have done this in your interview for you to get the job after all! Body Language is key, sit up straight, dont fold your arms defensively, be open, smile and thats half the battle.

Soon enough by acting confident you will soon find that you are confident - It'll just happen naturally. Push yourself to go the extra mile and approach people, it wont feel comfortable at first but practice makes perfect and soon you will fnd that your comfort zone will expand and you will feel fine.

Dont be afraid - Life is too short.
Repeat after me....
"I am strong and confident!" " I can do anything!" " I am soo cool dude!"
LOL
