I did my GCSE's this year, didn't do as well as I expected in most of them. My school advised me to a BTEC. So I am and its ok. I have been considering for a while to resit my GCSE's either in November(when the syllabus will be the same) or in June (when the syllabus will be different. Hopefully if I do this my grades will come out higher and I can do a level which I would prefer. Should I carry on with BTEC or resit most of my GCSE's to do A levels?

You cannot re-sit all GCSE subjects in November and if the syllabus changes for the June exams, you can't sit those either without being taught the course. I would discuss with your school that you are considering this course of action and see what they advise.
