I've nearly finished my personal statement and I mentioned a few book titles.

I wrote them in italics. An example: "... I have recently read Author's Book Title Here and...".

Do the italics show up when the statement gets to admissions, or do I need to do the following: "... I have recently read Author's 'Book Title Here' and..."?

Sorry for the weird example sentence, but I don't like posting any part of my personal statement.

Thanks!

Yes it does, all font changes show up when you print, like Bold, underline etc...

The UCAS form removes all formatting, including bold, italic, underline and indents/extra spaces
