1. 2x + y - z = 0
3x - y + z = 4
4x -3y +19z = 111

...aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!

2. Add the first two equations.
3. a) 2x + y - z = 0
b) 3x - y + z = 4
c) 4x -3y +19z = 111
------------------------
d) = a) + b)

d) 5x = 4
Therefore x = 4/5
------------------------
e) = c) + (3 X a))

3 X a) 6x + 3y - 3z = 0

SO e) 10x + 16z = 111
16z = 111 - 10x

and x = 4/5 so 10x = 8
16z = 103
Therefore z = 103/16
------------------------
From a) y = z - 2x

y = 103/16 - 8/5
y = 4 and 67/80
