I am starting full time adult nursing degee at plymouth uni sept 2016. I have been assessed as getting 1000 non means tested grant, 2643 nhs basic award and an extra weeks allowance of 1848.

Stident finance have also awarded me 2324 maintenance loan.

My problem is that the nursing year runs to the end of august so by the time i have paid accommodation for this longer period i am left with just over £20 a week.

Does anybody know if there are additional monies or do i just get progressively into more debt.

There might be something from the uni? There's also the option of an interest free overdraft from your bank?
