So I delayed getting a place in the student halls and now they're All full for spaces on campus so have had to respire to private accommodation near the uni I'm scared I'm gonna rn missing out on the social experience of halls and won't make much friends even though I am a sociable person, will living in private accomdadion mean I'll miss out on the first year experience ?

Hey, I'm not going to be living in halls either and have been worrying about this. However, I'm sure if you make friends on your course they will invite you to things..?

You can meet people on Facebook pages and groups for the course and for people who ended up in private accommodation too. You'll make friends during fresher's and afterwards by joining societies. You'll have all the same opportunities as people in halls. So I wouldn't worry
